For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Renee Donahue. I am a SAHM of 2 beautiful children and an adoring husband. We live in a small gulf coast town called Dickinson, Texas. I help out needy families in my community and have started my own little private, non-profit organization I help them through which I call F.A.A.P. (read more about it on the FAAP page!). My husband’s name is Sky and my children are Madison and Alex.

Madison is almost 11 years old and thinks she is going on about 30! She is an intelligent little girl and very helpful! She loves to read, do arts and crafts, play Nintendo, play on the computer, loves her music, and she absolutely adores Tweety Bird and Ocean life... especially dolphins! She is my "second in command" acting as the mother hen, when momma is not available! LOL...

Alex is my "miracle child". He is 9 years old and is multi-disabled. He has autism, ADHD, a hearing impairment, a visual impairment, speech impaired, etc. But don't let him fool you... he is smarter than you think! In most aspects of life, he is your normal 9 year old boy, loving his Poke'mon, Yu-Gi-Oh, hot wheels, and especially DRAGONS! He is a very affectionate and loving child! Not normal for a boy with his "hurdles"... we are very proud!

Sky... well what more can I say than he is my "knight in shining armor". He is my soulmate and we have been through MANY trials, tribulations, tragedies, and rewarding moments together. You will never know a man as patriotic as Sky... He is also an aspiring meteorologist, and my human barometer! LOL.. Storm chasing is a HUGE hobby for my adventure seeking husband...

As for me, well I am a freak! LOL... I collect all kinds of things: from Elvis to tigers, to lighters, foreign monies, and MANY MANY more things (check out some of the things on the "My collections" page as I am always looking for new pieces to add to all of them!). I love making bath & body products, homemade jams & jellies, arts & crafts of all kinds- including hair scrunchies, grocery bag holders, Christmas stockings, and much more. I love charity work, and I make donations to all kinds of charities throughout the year. This is aside from the work I do for all the families here in my local community through my organization. I love shopping with my coupons, doing rebates, watching movies, you name it.... as long as I am feeling ok, I am up for the fun!

We have a wonderful extended family unit as well. My mother, father, and 2 brothers are all volunteer fire fighters. My grandmother is a real spitfire woman who teaches me something new everytime I speak to her. She is also a writer with some small stories published locally. We love her to death. One of my brothers, Mark, got married on June 30, 2004 to a wonderful young lady named Diane, who is a lifeguard and an all around good person. She is an animal lover like myself, working at a local pet store and going to college to be a zoologist. I feel so old! LOL... We also have aunts, uncles, cousins, etc all over the US. And my best friend, Pam and her husband just moved to Texas! They are family too!
